The SJ5K Club
The SJ5K Club is a student organization at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. The SJ5K event was originally founded in 2011, and the student club was created in 2018 by students and faculty members after the event’s continued growth and success over the years. Interested students focus their service efforts on managing, planning, and leading the annual 5k run, and they do a fantastic job. This is an amazing group of young people, eager and motivated to help the local community.
If you are a local student who has interest in getting involved, please reach out to the student organization at firstname.lastname@example.org!
The SJ5K Student Leadership Team
Sarah Glovatsky: Communications Director
Hello I am Sarah GIovatsky and I am so happy to be the 2019 Communications Director. This is my 3rd year with the SJ5K, and I am truly in it for the long run. Last year I helped with the planning of packet pickup for the community and PCEP students and the year before I helped at the middle school level to create packets. I am a sophomore from Plymouth High School. I am an active member of Congress and I also play soccer. Outside of school I enjoy yoga, reading, traveling, and hanging out with friends. I am thrilled to be a part of our amazing team and I cannot wait to see what this year brings!
Emily Mundorf: Logistics Team Leader
Hi! My name is Emily Mundorf and I am a freshman at Canton High School. This year I am lucky enough to be the team leader for the 2019 SJ5K Logistics Team. This is my second year working on the SJ5K and I am extremely grateful to have much more of a hands on role this year. Outside of the SJ5K I am a varsity golfer and I am also involved in student congress. I love getting involved inside and outside of school and the SJ5K gives me that perfect balance. I am honored to have the opportunity to give back to my community in such a large scale way.
Emily Britton: Promotions Team Leader
Hello! My name is Emily Britton, and I’m currently a senior at Plymouth High School. I have the honor of leading the promotions team for the 2019 SJ5K. Outside of the SJ5K, I am on the cross country and track teams at my school. I also enjoy playing guitar, spending time with friends and family, and painting in my free time. Next year, I will be attending the University of Michigan with hopes of pursuing a career in chemistry or biology. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given to help support our 5 families this year and show them that the community is truly “IN IT FOR the long run!”

Hi! My name is Tassnime Sebaei and I am a senior in the International Baccalaureate Program at Plymouth High School. I am more than grateful to be a part of this year’s Family Outreach Committee and oversee the five wonderful recipient families. Outside of the SJ5K I enjoy traveling, playing soccer, fashion, and spending time with my family.
