THANK YOU

to the 2,950 racers and to all of our wonderful volunteers and sponsors for being the heroes of the 2016 SJ5K!

With your help, our five families can be provided with the medical care they need!

Special thanks to the Canton Cup for supporting the SJ5K!

2016

This year we have chosen 5 amazing and very deserving recipients. Ann Slomkowski, a truly caring math teacher at West Middle School is battling cancer for the second time. Torrance Johnson is a 5th grader at Eriksson Elementary who is so full of life despite his struggle with Muscular Dystrophy. Chris White, a 21-year-old Salem alumni, with a brain tumor works so hard every day determined to get stronger. Sharon Laing, a math teacher at Plymouth high school recently diagnosed with breast cancer is dedicated to not letting her circumstances affect her students. Terri Saenz, a parent of two Salem high school graduates, keeps herself and everyone around her thinking optimistically despite a diagnosis of ALS.

Please come back next year to support our 2017 participants!
